Tony Ferreira

Tony has initiated, managed, and delivered strategic research on product development, customer satisfaction, branding, pricing, and segmentation for nearly 20 years. His in-depth research experience as an internal research director and external consultant allows him to work closely with clients to select and develop the most actionable and appropriate research techniques for use in critical decision-making.
Before joining Cogent, Tony held research director, vice president of research, and senior analytical roles at Sun Life Financial, MFS Investment Management, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Abt Associates. He has directed agent and investor research on several financial products including variable annuities, mutual funds, 401(k)/403(b) plans, separately managed accounts, institutional separate accounts, 529 plans, EIAs, and IRAs.
Tony holds an MBA degree, with a concentration in marketing, from the Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management, where he graduated with honors. Tony is an NASD registered representative and holds Series 26 and Series 6 licenses. He is a past member of the ICI Research Committee and LIMRA’s Market Research Committee. His repackaged research has appeared in industry periodicals including Registered Rep, National Underwriter, and Life and Health Agent. Tony was also a past speaker at FRA’s Retirement Income and Rollover Summit Conferences. He is an active AMA member.
